he position requires a combination of office and fieldwork. Office work requires periods of prolonged sitting requiring careful concentration for accurate data analysis and computer input. The incumbent is required to be able lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Fieldwork will involve operation of a 4X4 vehicle often over rough terrain; physical exertion; long periods of standing or walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces in remote locations. Work Environment:
Fieldwork consists of approximately 60-70% of the work. The remaining balance of time is spent working in an office setting. Fieldwork may require working alone for extended periods of time in extremely remote situations under adverse environmental and climatic conditions (e.g., extreme heat or cold, high winds, and dust). The topography in the work area is quite varied from flat open places to very rugged steep mountainous or canyon terrain. Incumbent will adhere to all safety rules and regulations as prescribed in manuals/supplements or by the designated Safety Officer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
